I can only afford one so after reading the reviews starting to think people were spoiled with the finished product of medieval dynasty, so playing this without having played that could be a bonus since I have no expectation comparison.

I'm bored, need something to do, that is still entertaining even if it's unfinished. I quite enjoyed it with Icarus just seeing what they started as to where it's come is actually enjoyable to me, I don't mind that part at all. I don't mind early access unfinished games. Having something complete to fall back on, especially with mostly the same gameplay, can help keep frustration at a minimum. Medieval Dynasty will help keep your eye on where Wild West Dynasty will be going as well as providing some entertainment between patches/updates/hotfixes which, at this early point of the EA, will be spread further apart and contain less fixes than the bugs we find. So, do you want a game you can play or do you want to help make a game that you want to play. They find the lack of a finished product (or even semi-finished) to be frustrating and unplayable. We're doing the EA to help complete the game. It will crash and it will act very weirdly. The question is, do you want a complete game to play or are you willing to slog through the EA that's being done here. However, while it is a Dynasty game, the time period is different so you'll have slightly different games once this is complete. Well, Medieval Dynasty is completed with the devs working on QOL and bug fixes now.
